The TM Random Ticket Generator

Bit of a frustrated moan here, so ignore me if you like smile

Anyone else frustrated at trying to predict when TM will release more batches of tickets?

They released some for Friday (31st) on Friday past (24th). I'm looking for tix for the next night (1st Sep) so I thought more might go on-sale on Saturday morning (25th). No such luck, so I wondered whether maybe it was a weekend thing, and they might be on sale this morning (still no luck).

I suppose I should have known better than trying to apply logic to their releases. Just hope I manage to catch them in time, if they do finally come on sale.

That's all ...

i think tiny amounts of tickets are going on sale because they are cancelations being released back to the public, which is why they dissapear as fast as they appear. i understand the o2/tm do hold back seats on purpose until close to the night to outwit scalpers, so if you look the day before the event or the day itself you might get tix

What about them releasing tickets for the aftershow on Fri 21st? Any chance you think? Sooooo desperate to go and cannot afford the prices they are getting to on ebay. Please if anyone has some tickets they need to sell for this night or needs someone to go with, let me know! smile

Webbers

Does anyone know if there is a chance of tickets being available at the O2 box office @ the night of the show (in my case 1-9)? Currently I only have a ticket for the 1-9 aftershow...

on the nite of the show they sometimes (usually?) have tix onsale for that nite. likewise the box office for the indigo2

as for any specific night i'm not sure. i think 21st sept is sold out though. loads of people are asking for tix for that nite, i'm not sure why people didn't buy them when they went on sale weeks ago

I was told they usually hold some back for the night. And the lady on the ticket desk (I asked in person when I was there last Sat) said this would be true even for the 21st. When I asked what time to come, she said, "4 pm ish". But she also added that of course there was no guarantee...

-> "people did"... that's exactly the reason why it's sold out now! confuse err

Promoters always hold back lots of tickets from the start of any event. As the date comes closer and they have a better idea of which tickets they will not need, they allow Ticketmaster to sell them to the public up until hours before the show. There is no rhyme or reason to it.

but none of the shows sold out on the day of sale, thus if you went online or called at 9am when they went onsale you would have been able to get a ticket no problem
