SEATING FOR TONIGHT - CONFIRMED

I spoke to the manger of the apollo on the way out last night, he said they "learned a lesson tonight"...and confirmed that tomorrow & Saturday would be general admission in the first 15 rows...they would put signs on the 15th Row to show the end of the area...and attempt to keep the people from the rows behind from charging the stage from the aisles...See you all in the queue again in a few hours...he also said that there should be no waiting in the annex like last night. Fingers crossed!!

It'd be hard to imagine that Prince witnessed the chaos last night in London tht he would alllow it to happen again ? After all it did disrupt his soundcheck also !

I'm confused about the general admission thing - what happens to the folk who have already got seats in this area (eg I assume someone has seats in row 13 already in their hands). Where do they go?

Thanks...

The venue had the best idea, by allocating the seating.

No saddos queuing from 11am.

Relaxed atmosphere.

Get a drink, programme freely.

No fighting over seats.

Get a seat in the first 15 rows garenteed.

Can you get any more civilised?

Absolutely. We're all too old for this queuing nonsense and elbowing each other to get to the front. Meet up, have a few drinks, few laughs, some food, stroll over to the gig, take my seat and enjoy the show. That's what it should be like!

Yes, I agree ... if only from the point of view that it would've been nice to go to the loo without worrying about who had their eye on my seat! biggrin
