'Wear Something Purple'

I've just been browsing Ticketmaster and have noticed that there's a note on most dates (if not all, I didn't check) that states you should 'wear something purple'. Has this always been on here and I haven't noticed or is it a new addition?

I'm not stopping. I haven't even taken my coat off

aymiderham	I haven't seen it, prob new. I wore purple on 4th but on 18th I wore, black,purple,pink, yellow necklace, pink big star earrings, leopard print alice band, yellow shoes, it was acceptable in the 80s! lol! I loved wearing all that though
