This is good news if true.
I am one of the ones that didn't expect to see Prince at every aftershow anyway but if this encourages him to be there, then it could be a good thing. The only downside would be if he does less at all of the aftershows, rather than a lot at a few. If that makes any sense? RIP  | |

they told me that folx tried 2 get refunds 4 the sat nite show as well but couldnt as prince did make a "show" and technically was there.

Ok just spoke to a supervisor called Matt ext 796 he claims that it did state that Prince may or may not turn up and they i.e. Ticketdisaster are not held responsible if he does not, he also stated that he has a list of performers for each aftershow and that this information was there for all to see so technically there is a show!
I pointed out that none of this information was available when I booked and that I was clearly mislead regarding how it was all actually worded when I purchased the tickets and that the tickets themselves where misleading! He would not budge saying it was down to the individual interpretation! So small claims court here we come! AWJ | |

[Edited 8/6/07 9:02am] Small claims court??? Dont be ridiculous... Take out the word court, as you'll never have to go there. Simply file a small claims online. Better still, get your credit card company to do it for you. . |

Ticketmaster stated to me today that no one has received a refund, as the o2 Customer Services would be the ones to issue any refund. Ticketmaster have received various phone calls about Friday night and the guy I spoke to is not looking forward to the next 18 aftershows. 
I have emailed the o2 and I'll let you know how I get on....Meanwhile, I'll be out of the Indigo2 by 2am tomorrow evening if there is no show by P... [Edited 8/9/07 1:56am] I'm hot and I don't care who knows it...I got a job to do.  |

I'll let you know how I get on....Meanwhile, I'll be out of the Indigo2 by 2am tomorrow evening if there is no show by P... thats weird, im sure i cant be the only person 2 have been granted a refund. my advice is 2 keep phoneing back several times till u get through 2 a nice superviser and put ur case by them....at the end of the day its at there discretion. i would love 2 know if that lady who did mine is now in trouble with her boss after everyone else wanting a refund 2?? kinda sucks 4 every fan who got screwed at the friday show. Just spoke to ticketmaster. They told me to write in and that nobody has so far been refunded.
I think it's worth giving it a go, even if it just to make ticketmaster and the promoters understand they have to bill these events properly. |

I did inform him that none of this information was available on the site at the time I purchased my tickets and has only subsequently appeared on there site obviously due to the fact they had originally fucked up he kept constantly stated that the as far as he can see the information was there and he was looking at it right now! He also kept referring to it as a PRINCE AFTERSHOW PARTY!!! According to him PRINCE + SHOW = Dr John and that I should have known that! A liar and real slave to his masters! He was insistent that the information was clearly there from the beginning! I suggested that he look deep within himself and stop paying me lip service and feeding me bullshit! I am a newbie on here(although I am 47 and been a Prince fan for ????? years! Just been informed by a lovely lady at Ticketmaster that I should write to Customer services in Manchester to ask for a refund.
