Sorry to start yet another angry Ticketmaster bashing thread for the O2 concerts, but I thought we should track this one as it really raises eye brows. Now, following the O2 presale, general sale, VIP fiasco, auctions, additional good seats resulting in people re-buying tickets and having to find ways to dump existing, there is now something called a FANCLUB PASS CODE on ticketmaster. Obvious questions are:
WHAT FAN CLUB? 3121?? No mention of it there, and no contact from them...
WHAT TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AND AT WHAT PRICE?
WHO IS THIS AIMED AT? Most fans have bought already!
AND WHY DO THIS UP AFTER WE'VE SPENT ALL OUR MONEY ON EXISTING TICKETS?????

I have been a Prince fan for over 20 years and was in the Controversy and also NPG Music Club fan clubs - it is very said that this has happened as I am sure from previous concerts I have attended, that Prince really does appreciate true fans. Lets hope we get some news soon although, like others, I have spent a fortune on concert tickets, hotel accommodation and train fares to get to the forthcoming concerts.

some over at housequake had the idea that perhaps it relates to aftershows at the Indigo?? Now that's not a bad call...perhaps that's all it's about and news will come through 3121? Though it would suggest an aftershow EVERY night...seems too much even for Prince unless he just lets his band/guests play while he sits with the twinz and comes on for the odd solo?

they have disappeared now. I wouldn't be surprised if Ticketmaster made a mistake and these Fanclub pre-sale codes are for the aftershows at the Indigo for all concert nights - do you remember at the beginning of the concert sales when they put up all 21 concerts by mistake and then reduced it down to 15 concerts for a few weeks?

official Ticketmaster response received today (I'm baffled by their timely response, but still it is a load of bull !!!) I am/was an NPGMC member but no word from 3121.com about a code ...

Thank you for your email.

The Fan Club NPGMC has closed down. Members of this fan club will be notified and they will be members of the new fan club 3121.com and they will be given priority over the new seats. However if you are not a member of the old fan club you will not be able to join until later in the month.

Any existing members of the "old" fan club will be contacted giving them information on how to book these seats.

For all Prince dates at the 02 and for general admission tickets there is a box referencing 'Prince Fan Club' where users can enter a private code. Which Prince Fanclub members receive this password ? As far as I know there is no official Prince fanclub since the NPGMC was terminated about 2 years ago ...

3121 just looks like a prince info page and not a fan club page ..nothing like npg club was ...unless he will update it shortly ...also they will have to contact all the old members of the npg club with a code ..all in the space of 3-4 weeks before the concerts start ..is it possible ?.....so the confusion continues.....if you werent mad before being a p fan ....i think being one will make u madd...lol

Also, am I the only person whose email address has changed?! I mean, the ONA shows were 5 years ago!! There seems to be no way of contacting anybody to notify my change of email address so if any password does get sent to ex NPGMC members I won't receive it.

I got me some VIP tickets (full price) some time ago for the 18 of aug.
Then i found out that my plane flight is one day before and also wanted to get me some tickets on the 17.
And nothing on sale on ticketmaster,so what do you do (e-bay) you contact scalpers,you know the one's loves so mutch.
To find out now that i could have a normale ticket for a normal price for both nights feels like shit!
I really hope this fan club thing is to do whit aftershows.
(This is the first time in 12 prince concert's that i get the feeling something really is wrong)

hi ive just been over to the housequake forums and someone has posted up on there that that you will receive a message from npgmc on 7/7/07 which is friday with code dont know if its true or not but keep checking your in boxes .....this is getting nuts

just checked calendar 7th is a sat anways judjing by all the chaos i say just check your e-mails from now on..you never now what will happen

ok this is getting really stupid why couldn't prince just don 5 or 6 dates and charge £70 to 80 for good seats and £40 - 25 for higher levels.

This way WE the deserving fans who know more songs than "purple rain" and "kiss" would be willing to pay more to get closer to our idol rather that fighting for seats with any tom, dick and harry....

consequently I never received the code as didn't get the email, even looked in my spam for last few months when it was announced. Its odd as I got the email saying the last one shut and I can log into 3121. What was the code? Are there any left? I couldn't even find an email address to contact them about it, F1 seats would have been great
