Just the band, no Prince. Put in a good performance all the same, with Mike Philly and Maceo alternately leading the band, lots of extended solos, and some jamming with the guys from Mya's band. Shelby jumped into the audience at one point!
Hard to feel disappointed when there was such a good show put on, albeit without Prince. My guess is that Prince is saving his energy for the Saturday night performance. Tired now. Bed! | |
