Holiday Inn Express - Greenwich

I am staying here tomorrow night and again on Sept 21st. I am guessing people have stayed here for the previous concerts. How far is it from the arena and whats it like? Thanks!

The HI is about 10-15minutes walk from O2, you can see dome from hotel, its very close, I stayed there on 1st Aug and thought it was good, no complaints...
Have a good nite!! smile

Is great to get to the Dome. Is a cinema complex opposite and would recommend eating there instead of trying to get somewhere at the o2. We got the rooms really cheap so for us it was a bargain.

I stayed Saturday night, only £59 for room.

Only one stop on bus number 422 leaves every 10 mins from Bus Point B outside dome. Staff can tell you where to catch bus back.

There is a great view of the dome from the lift lobby area.
oh mama I wish I could resist ...

If you book it online click on the Leisure breaks button, that is how I got the better price

Take a look through some of the hotel threads for a way to get 59 quid rooms at the HI express greenwich - they're all out for 21st sept, but there's certainly some dates left at that price (I checked a couple of days ago).

It was a 13 minute walk door to door for me - back there for 24th/25th, 1st, and the 21st at the least (trying a different one this weekend smile )

Thanks everyone for your responses! Yeah I got the leisure saver deal of £59 per room for tomorrow night and the 21st Sept. Delighted to hear it actually is that close and that there are no complaints!

There's a whole load of us from the Org staying there on the 21st...its the closest hotel to the Dome and a great for nipping to after the concert and before the aftershow if you want to freshen up and avoid standing in the queue for the Indigo for half any hour. Check out the link for the meet up there on the 21st:-

Cheers, will do! Well I stayed there last night and it was perfect. So close to the Dome, very handy. Rooms were clean and comfortable and staff were friendly. Perfect for £59 per room. We really appreciated it at 3am when the queues outside the dome for a taxi were ridiculous - we just walked back the the hotel.
