[Edited 8/17/07 2:27am] That's a shame, compared to Nikka Costa, Beverley Knight etc Mya is disappointing. Always cry 4 love never cry 4 pain

A noboby they keep trying to re-launch since her appearance on Lady Marmalade.
£25!? I would expect to pay around £5 to see an act of this calibre at the Koko or Islington Academy. .

I believe they are all booked. They are just not releasing the names, so more mugs might buy tickets hoping to see another Prince show. .

Mya is fit - i know that isn't a reason to see her but they are pushing a new song of hers on the video channels at the moment so i guess that is why they are getting her to perform.
i am more than happy to give her a chance, and anyway if she is on at 7.30 there is nothing saying people have to be there to see her. remember seeing the foo fighters and missing the QoTSA and supergrass because i only wanted to see the foos. as long as her performing doesn't cut into P's time on stage I am not too unhappy about having the chance to see her on Saturday. Sorry just my 2c

hmm so we've got Mya this Sat, fingers crossed she'll be ok, but then I didn't think much of Nikka Costa as support in the O2. She was prob better in the Indigo after, but she just came across as an older version of Joss Stone when supporting.
Sorry to offend any Costa supporters, but I guess we all have diff tastes, apart from when it comes to Prince that is

I'm happy for Mya opening up for Prince. Mya was on 106 & Park a long time ago. They asked her if she could work with someone who would it be. She of course said Prince. So, I'm sure she's on cloud 9!

Man, hope Prince appears @ the aftershow 2 get down with her. I don't know about her live shows but I expect she could do with a lil injection of the funk.
