Has anyone parked overnight at the 02?

I thinking of driving up tomorrow, but I'm staying in a nearby hotel too. Has anyone left their car at the 02 overnight, and are there any additional costs?

I'm going to aftershow tomorrow night and was worried about whether car park closed after concert. Rang O2 and they told me that if you have booked the car park it covers from 10am on the day of the show until 9am following morning. Hope this helps. Not sure if it applies if you just turn up on the day.

Less than 24 hours to go - woohoo - can't wait!

Parking at the 02 will cost you 22.30 if you pre book online or 20 on the day. I pre booked mine and it was just a case of turn up and stick ya credit card in the machine, you can park from 10 am on the morning of the gig and stay for 24 hours. The car park seemed very secure and only a 2 min walk from the main entrance. Hope this helps. xx

I read you have to clear the car park by 9am the next morning. But I want a lie in! Can I leave it 24 hours then?

wink

I was told 24 hours from 10 am so I guess you'll have to get your lazy arse outta bed and shift your motor by 9ish to be on the safe side!

well last saturday I pre-booked in the morning and drove in there at about 6pm. I could have saved the booking free and just drove straight in as they tke payment there as well. Left straight after the aftershow at 2.30 and trying to get out the machine wanted another £10!!!!! I pressed the help buzzer and the assistant asked whether I had my booking reference! Well, I gave him an earful and he let me out, but be warned, as I've come to realise somewhat late that everything to do with the O2, AEG, Ticketmaster whatever is designed to bully money out of you.

You pre booked in the morning? Strange. TheO2 site says that pre booking closes 24 hours prior to an event.

The holiday inn charges £3 to park according to my confirmation, so for £62 you get a room and a car park, not bad considering the O2 want £20 just to park

I had to book on the phone as there was no option to book online at that short notice. Anyway, I was booked on and confirmation came through email so everything looked OK. I'm going to check my statement carefully though to mke sure I was not actually charged the extra tenner.
