F BLOCKS BEHIND THE STAGE

A number of people have asked about the F blocks behind the stage, me being one of them as I had two tickets for Row A Block F1 tonight. After much complaining at customer services I got them changed for Row S Block 102. I'm so glad I did.

Although Prince did go round the back of the O of the symbol around 7 or 8 times tonight, in my opinion, anybody certain in block F1, F2, F3 and even some of the lower tier seats wouldn't have been able to see Prince otherwise. He plays mostly down the stalk of the symbol and only occasionally goes round the back. From what I could see you would not be able to see Prince from the F blocks when he was performing elsewhere on the stage.

So far neither AEG, O2 or Ticketmaster will admit that these seats are restricted view but there can be no doubt that they are.

That is my opinion having checked this out tonight and thanking my lucky stars that I was able to change them at the last minute.

Sorry if this is bad news for you but forewarned is forearmed.

Customer Services is located on levels 1 and 4. They're small little units on the opposite side of the eating places inside the arena. If you can't find them then just ask for directions from the O2 people dotted around.

I argued with them. And never gave up my argument. They stated from the outset that they had no spare tickets. But I walked away from there with block 102 row S. They told me not to tell anybody. Tough.

You should argue that the tickets you have are restricted view. And don't go away from there until they give you tickets. They have a supply of tickets which they swap over for people in the upper tiers who can't hack it up there, pregnant women blah blah blah so don't let them fob you off. They gave me a slip of paper with the AEG head office address on and said to complain but that wasn't going to help me last night!

If you don't want an argument on the night with customer services (cos that is what you'll get) then if you have enough time before the concert I would suggest taking it to AEG directly. And O2. And Ticketmaster. All of their details are on the O2 website under CONTACT US. And don't bother emailing. I did this and didn't receive a response from one of them. Phone them. Badger them. Make a nuisance of yourself until they replace your tickets.
