Purple Rain....truly sensational climax

excellent choice as an opening song. I heard it at Target Center and here at 02 arena as openers. Great!!! It's the "ultimate experience" at the onset...and then whatever comes after is cool. Thank u P for the Target Center and 02 experience. Now let's allow Planet Earth to rain Purple Rain in 02.

gotta disagree, it's the ultimate closer. completely wasted up front. Anything would have been better, planet earth/LGC even 3121.

Once again, IMO Purple Rain was an excellent choice to open. PR is a beautiful song,it bring the tears down in the midst.....A Love Bizarre....love/romance excellent closer.....time to party again.

It's a closer. I think I'd like to see something like Gonna be a Beautiful Night or something of that ilk. Personally I want something upbeat and getting the whole arena on their feet ready to party, rather than reaching for their tissues and lighters to wave in the air!
