Question:

How do we MPLS Prince fans get the good seats with no NPGMUSICCLUB?

I guess it's never been a concern until now.

Do fans/fan club members get any kind of early sales?

Someone please let me know....

If you have a cell phone sign up for SmS from 3121.com to get presale info wink

It's a concern of mine also. I've signed up but please, please, please let there be a pre-sale. I've been spoiled. I don't want no nosebleed seats. lol

Traditional presales are crap. The newspaper and the news have outlined how they don't even always put the best seats available for the presale. I was the first person in line at the venue for the Lenny Kravitz preslale and they put me in the 20something row.

As for this show after the disappointment of feeling shortchanged with the short show in Vegas I have a price limit I am willing to pay and I will not go over it so hopefully Prince keeps the price low.....I mean real low.

since it's a charity gig, i wouldn't be anticipating low ticket prices...but it IS in a big venue, so maybe it won't be SO bad?

Those are my thoughts as well. Somewhere mid-range. Not cheap, but since it's a big venue, not crazy either.

And then there's an after-party/show at the Park to consider...

Prince's first hometown concert in three years.
New CD as part of the ticket price(maybe).
Chance of there being an Aftershow at Paisley.

I'm so there.

Unless the tickets are sold out in like 2 seconds. mad

Scalping is legal on Minnesota now. Thank you local government, who I will be doing my best to vote out at the next elections. Yes, I've taken names motherfuckers.

I heard about some of the recent messes with other artists, but the NPGMC presales for the Musicology tour were great.

My friend (who bought the tickets for the two of us) got row 1 seats for two of the last few shows of the tour, and great seats for the other shows as well. All this without "knowing" anybody or paying a penny over the face price (the NPGMC membership fee was more than made up for by our service charge savings!). nod May the NPGMC ticket presales R.I.P.

Which is why I said "traditional" presales. The problem is Prince doesn't have a music club anymore and doesn't appear to be offering the musicology model anymore.
