This is from the npgmusicclub site, at the concerts bit:

U must have ur Member Laminate 2 get Member access 2 the afterparty. All afterparties will b announced immediately after the show but r not guaranteed. The events r typically just dance parties just 4 fun and NOT PER4MANCES and we do not guarantee Prince will b there. Every afterparty will have it's own arrangements depending on the situation. But u must have the laminate 2 get member access 2 whatever is set up. Members can bring one guest with their laminate that can line up with them. However, while the member typically gets in free, the guest must pay the cover charge. Afterparties will b open 2 the public as well.

what's the difference between member access and access for the public? what 'special' treatment is there for a member?

in the U.S. members got in free typically. And in several instances they were let in before the general public. In atlanta the members were let into a roped off section in front of the stage so they could be up front.

Can you go into the club with a tour t-shirt on or do you have to wear something smarter?

I was wondering that exact question Goldies, beat me to it!
need to be prepared.
I was wondering about bags also, do they mind if you have a bag with you?

I'm sure I've got into the London Aftershow before in a tour T-shirt. I think it's like Prince's do, so his rules go! As for bags an' stuff go - they'll probably have a cloakroom like on a normal club night, which you might have to pay for...

*Peace*

I have tickets for Friday's concert at the Hammersmith ... I would've liked to get tickets for Saturday as well, but they are sold out. Since on Sunday he's not playing anywhere, I find quite logical that the aftershow would take place on Saturday night after the last Hammersmith gig. Then: do you think that my previous day laminate would get me to the aftershow ? ... Too much anticipation, I know, but I'm sure you can all understand ... It's been madness since Friday morning !

I would imagine that laminates are only valid for the one day.

Dress code:
I seem to remember the bouncers at the first Emporium gig in London refused to let people in dressed scruffy, but after a while they were told they had to let everybody in by Prince's people.

To avoid any possible disapointment, perhaps shoes (not trainers) and non-blue jeans wouldnt go a miss. Maybe take a shirt to go over any Tshirts too...

It'll probably be ok. But imagine how gutted you would be if you were turned away because you were wearing trainers! And he played a rocking show where all members got a special roped off section at the front!

"Sorry mate, you aint coming in. No trainers allowed!"

"But Im with Prince, heres my laminate!"

"Doesnt matter, Even Prince cant come in with trainers!"

Woah! Mad!

Just a scenario...

I dopubt there will be a problem as it will be a private party anyhow...
