I just called the Rio box office to ask them if there is a possibility that 3121 will renew its contract after March. The person on the phone said yes it is a possibility.

you would think that if it is his final month that it would be official somewhere so the sales would go up but there has been no official word yet

interesting that someone would say that at the Rio because most of them say that the 31st is his last show but maybe it is just a way for them to boost sales

either way they didn't sell out last weekend or this weekend so go figure

I think the Rio etc are just as confussed as we are.. Prince probably hasnt even decided yet.

When we were at dinner on Saturday the manager at 3121 said they would be closing the restaurant on April 1st and that the whole room would be packed up within a few days to reopen the following week as a Rio owned steak house. I asked where all the 3121 stuff would go and she said Prince would be keeping all the restaurant supplies in an LA Wherehouse. So, if he is staying (fingers crossed), he definately won't have the restaurant any more.

Prince Packs Up Las Vegas Show

Prince's residency in Las Vegas is coming to a close - he'll vacate the Rio hotel and casino at the end of the month.

The pop superstar, who has performed regularly at the Rio's Club 3121 and hosted talent nights since last November, will make way for Latin America hotspot Coco Bongo's carnival-style club vibe.

Coco Bongo is a big hit in Cancun, Mexico, and has been dubbed "a cross between Cirque du Soleil and (New York nightclub) Studio 54".
