[Edited 3/1/07 13:12pm] I was thinking of going on the 30 & 31, and will be most likely be going alone too. Anyone else flying solo on this weekend? I'll be flying in solo too for this weekend. If you or anyone would like to meet up it would be cool! [Edited 3/2/07 12:38pm] He gets it! That's why the ladies love him...

Uh oh...are you sending "Debbie-Downer" signals? <<---- (just messing with ya!) Hey X, think positive...if you go, make the best of the experience. By the way....."something" seems to be telling a lot of people a lot of things these days...who is this "something" person? I'd like to meet him/her...he says that she says that they said that we said that something told them something. . Anyway, Xenophobia...no one knows what to expect any weekend he performs, so I don't see the last weekend of March any different than the weekends prior because it hasn't happened yet. The experience is what you make of it. If no aftershow the last weekend, then that wouldn't be a surprise since it is "supposedly" the last weekend of his Club 3121 performance, but then that's just it, you never know what to expect from Prince. So I rather wait to hear the results before speculating that the last weekend in March won't be a good show. Besides, who wouldn't get excited getting a chance to see Prince perform in a smaller venue? I say go for it!! Anyway, I hope anyone that goes enjoys the experience and make the very best of it for themselves! [Edited 3/2/07 15:45pm]

I want to cry right now... of JOY of course, I booked my ticket for attending the 10th of March show, I am so excited, I have never seen Prince performing live and I have always been in awe with his instrumental and singing skills. This is an adventure for me as I will be travelling from England (u.k) to Las Vegas and it will also be the occasion to see this mad place for the first time. If any of you are in town, please send me a message and I will be glad to meet new people who share the same passion for music. All the best, Suzie xoxo Hey Suzie! I've currently got GA tickets for the 9&10. I would love to upgrade, but being over zealous, I purchased them thru ticketmaster with no VIP options. But I'm still working on it! I will be solo on the 10 ( my companion will be involved in a poker tourn.)

just bought my tix for the 24th. Can't wait. Anyone know how big the room is, what time he ACTUALLY starts (10?) and how early one should get there to be near the front?
I am stoked. This is going to be too much fun! The expanded version of my book PRINCE and The Purple Rain Era Studio Sessions 1983-1984 was released in November 2018. (www.amazon.com/gp/product/1538114623/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_bibl_vppi_i0) or www.facebook.com/groups/1...104195943/

Has anyone been part of a cast or a team? Remember that feeling of euphoria and excitement for the last show or the last game of your high school experience? I think when one invests energy into something that represents who one is, the closure of that experience is naturally one of exuberance. A feeling that one has accomplished a goal and now is ready to celebrate the movement forward. This is what I feel will occur for his last weekend. Not that his energy will be about us, but rather about his conclusion to his journey in Vegas, I believe that weekend will be awesome--naturally.

Wow..well said. ...especially the part about the "conclusion to his journey in Vegas"...at least for now anyway. I could see the last night being an emotional one for him and the band members, seeing how they were able to meet a lot of fans up close and personal while performing there these past months and just the love they received from the fans. Matter of fact, somehow I wouldn't be surprised if he did an acoustic set that night and included the song "Goodbye" which would be a perfect song choice for that night, but at the same time knowing he'll see a lot of his fans again at his next venture...yeah, it may just be an emotional weekend but a good one! Sorry for that, but you have too much wishfull thinking [Edited 3/3/07 14:38pm] You may be right. Maybe I have too much wishful thinking. But that's me. I prefer to keep it positive. I'm with you! There is no harm done by hoping to have an extraordinary experiance. I mean, once in a while I spend a buck on a lottery ticket knowing full well the odds. Everytime, I laugh and say the conversations alone with friends and family about what we would do with the money if we won was worth the dollar I spent. So, I don't think this is a case of "wishful thinking" (which has a negative connotation) but rather hope (very positive) which Webster describes as; the feeling that what is wanted can be had or that events will turn out well. My wish is for everyone who is fortunate enough to be able to go on ANY of the nights has exactly the experiance they are hoping to have.
