Give a brotha a review man! Doug E. Fresh is stale, imo. I've heard him & P. in concert together (back in the day and on the Hotel California boot), I'd pass even if I was in Vegas. The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

The lame ass rappers that are out today ? I don't even listen to today's rap so I can't speak on that. Stale was a play on his name Doug E. Fresh--see they're opposites. lol. He's stale compared to his contemporaries...give me Slick Rick, Run DMC, hell even vintage Beasties or LL over him anyday. He's tired compared to Prince too. I heard him on the Hotel California boot and he's still performing the same tired song (La Di Da Di) as he was when he was killing P's shows in the late 90s. The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. not to mention he was still doing that "the artist rocks the hardest" chant he's been doing since, what, '96 or so?
