Vegas VIP tables

Can anyone give me info on where the VIP tables are located at the club? They were selling table service for about $300 per "VIP" ticket Ithink. Does it seem worth it? I remember going to some other club/general admission type shows over the years and many times it's hard to see Prince unless you are right up front and willing to wait standing there for several before he comes on stage. Can anyone describe the club and if Gen Admission tix are still a good view even if you are not up front? I am a club member and get presale...but probably won't be able to make it to the club until around 11pm so I won't be up front.
thanks

I'm interested in this, too. Mostly...how far away are the VIP tables...and can you actually SEE anything from them? (At the Empire, half of the tables were on the same level with the dance floor -- which was packed. So those folks had LOTS of people standing in front of them.)

I don't want to pay almost $700 for a table and not be able to see the Man.

Great view from all of the tables. And if you were lucky enough to be on one of the side tables, Prince came over to one of them and picked someone to dance. This set up was ten times better than the Empire and 5 times better than the old Rio. One of the highlights for me was getting there early to listen to DJ Rashida and watch the amazing video show. The sound system is out of this world. They were playing all of his movies at the same time or at least it looked that way. People were dancing until the show started as well.

If I had the money, I would get the VIP package because it comes with a great dinner (no wine though...that's extra). And then a seat at that club with your own wait-staff looked very classy. Great for couples or if you have some folks that just want to sit down and chill all night.

Any place in the club is great! It's a big circle with two tiers of tables all around it. I got there at 11:30 and purposely stayed back a little for more dancing room, but was still about 30 feet away. I would only get the table if you plan to come really early and want a place to relax first.

Directly from The Rio (1-800-PLAYRIO).

VIP tables were great especially if you don't feel like standing all night.
That's counting line up (depending on what time you get in line) , pre-show (approx 2 hrs from entry-10pm, till showtime-Midnight), show-2 hrs.)

The above estimates are based on Saturday night.

you seem to have knowledge about the rio.....I'm just curious about the video situation. Do you have any idea how the vids are controlled? anything like Video on Demand in the rooms for example? (not even sure if the rio has VOD in the rooms but most hotels do)
thanx

I already purchased fan club 125.00 tickets. I plan on going to the restaurant anyway, so does anyone know if you can upgrade to a table and maybe they give credit for the 125.00?
