Red,
You're right. I'll need to make some serious phone calls and see who can hook me up. I would love to take you, unfortunately, I already know someone else crazy enough to drop $150. That is if we can get the good seats. The cheap seats are $100 (lol).

Anyone from Van who purchased their tickets please share with us whether NPGMC is charging us in US currency rather than CDN dollars. I will seriously have to consider buying tickets through NPGMC if this is the case. Big exchange difference. I emailed NPGMC about 30 min ago...let's see if they reply. I'll post when I know.
NPGMC relplied within 15 minutes. Anyway, tickets are in US currency through the retail section.(there's a little note on that now) NPGMC said they had a bank convert prices from CAN to USD. Think it will cost us a little more than our neighbours to the south...but worth it I'm sure. [This message was edited Wed May 22 14:31:33 PDT 2002 by spicey1] Actually the Us prices are working to be cheaper than the prices he charged in the US it varies from city to city Alberta cheaper than Van...Toronto most likely the highest Bob

Bob,
Do you think going to Roy Thompson Hall to get tickets would be less chaotic than at ticketmaster, or better than over the phone or online? If NPG members get to buy their tickets Saturday then the rest of us wont get good seats... I imagine that there are a lot of NPG members around here not to mention those travelling in to see him.

Well Ronnie, hes doing this so members do get better seats. simple enough. so if u want good seats, join the club. its only fair. i cant say for sure if it will be better to buy online or at the box office. i would call the box office and also call ticketmaster and see if u can buy them at outlets in the city when i buy online i usually have 1 or 2 computers at school or work or something! also, they go on sale monday, not many shows do so there shouldnt be too much traffic online. as for members in the city...only 2 ppl on the list are and maybe 2 people ive seen on the org...unless they just arent into the org or communicating with other fans...which is possible but most ppl willing to pay for membership have some sense of...fandom in them i only knew 3 other toronto ppl at the celebration, and i knew them before i went! what can i say? good luck Bob
