Can we please keep the soundchecks going!

Reading that "disabled girl cries" thread I am getting a little worried about the fact that any more "lunatic" advances on Prince, may result in the soundchecks going back behind closed doors.

Can we please try not to let this happen, I implore you all. I am in Europe and so have to wait a long while before he comes to our shores. If he gets too much grief over States side then us Europhiles may get the brunt of it...

lease lets keep it fun and something we should all feel priviledged to witness, and NOT some alterior motivated platform to showcase our own personal agenda.

Thanks y'all.

Don't worry...this was not that bad to have soundchecks canceled. It was not nearly as bad as it sounds in the post, and I'm talking about Prince's reaction.

I agree with you here though. People PLEASE don't ruin it for the rest of us!!!!! This is an amazing opportunity for us to see the man at work.

I agree.....the sound checks are amazing to witness. Being that close in such an intimate atmosphere , taking part in some amazing discussions ,and watching the man fine tune his band makes the membership worth it. Let's not blow it !
Membership is a priveledge and it does have it's rewards !!

That's exactly right. If it wasn't for the ridiculous thread Divinity started, I doubt Prince would even remember the whole thing.

What I think would get him upset is the fact that someone would take advantage of his openness to go and slander him on a public website. You can bet that someone at Paisley has noticed her thread, and that's why I've been so quick to post and keep the record straight about this.

The reason I posted the thread was not so much because of what went down, someone said that Prince probably forgot about it anyway. But its the fact that posting such a thread that makes a rather big (and possibly slanderous) issue of the whole affair, can be detrimental if it pisses our man off enough.

Its our duty, as lovers of the music to jump on anyone who tries to put the proverbial spanner in the works when it comes to this.

At the end of the day we all have the right to say what we want, but in exactly the same sense Prince has the right to stop what is a most unprecedented priviledge.

So lets keep the praise going for the man, critisize where critism is constunctive and keep it real. this moaning, pitiful bollox will only ruin it for the rest of the world who already have watering mouths in anticipation of his overseas conquests...
