Is there going to be anymore Canadian tour dates??

Has anyone heard if he'll do anymore Canadian tour dates??? The buzz around the Corel Centre in Ottawa last night was not of Sarah McLachlan but of when and if Prince will be bringing his tour to the capital. Word is the building was intense nogotiations but it apparently fell through. A couple dates were booked and set aside for the show but for some reason it is so far a no go. I'm just curious to hear if anyone else has heard anything??

Thx all!

Have really not heard anything about additional Canadian dates. But I did hear that there are no current concert plans past 11 September in the Oakland/San Jose Bay area.

Was told to keep checking the U Tell Us NEWS forum on NPGMC for any new concert announcements.

It is weird that even thuogh this is technically a "North American" tour of a world tour, only two Canadain dates are in the books -- Toronto at the ACC. My bet is a handful of dates will hit in later September if not October, possibly going from Vancouver back east to Newfoundland.

Cross fingers.

Great Thx!!! Yes, keeping my fingers crossed.

Initially, he was tentatively booked for July 5th but nothing evolved and then I was last told November was the next target date for him to come to Ottawa but it seems like that has fallen through as well. Looks like your right as late fall being the possible target dates to resume the Canadian half of the tour. Big suprise that he didn't play Montreal yet since MTl and T.O. always land the big shows. Ottawa, let's make this happen!!
stay tuned...

Oh my God I am so hoping that Prince comes to Montreal or Ottawa! I live in Ottawa and drove 7 hours to attend the Boston show on the 18th. Although the show was great, I had really bad seats: right behind the incredible drummer. I could only see half the stage and could only see Prince half the time and 75% of the time the back of his head... I still had a good time, but it really sucks for people sitting behind the drums, its the worse spot. I'm so jealous of people that could afford to see him night after night, high hotel costs prevented me from doing that sad

Ah well, lets keep our fingers crossed for more canadian dates.

You should have driven the 4 1/2 hours to Toronto for the 2 ACC shows (no US$ spent either)

I had already purchased my tickets from the NPGMClub presale before they announced that there would be concerts in Toronto. I didn't want to take a chance on missing out on the tour.

Gotcha! I am sure you had an equally good time....but you are right about seats behind the drums (as told to me by others).
