Im all for live music and Prince is totally amazing...but he cant keep going around knocking those peopel who make electronic based music. That includes Hip Hop, Dance etc etc and to say that they arent as good as him is just arrogant.
The live scene and the electronic scene are different...both have their masters, both have their plus side and both have their minus. He he wants to attack an area it shoudl be teh liek of Britney who dont perform live cuz tehy cant....or maybe thats what he IS saying | |

Yeah, I felt a little uncomfortable the way he disses other folks and that smug little smile. But I think it tends to come with the territory of someone who has devoted his life to something and believes in it so strongly and then is worshipped because of it. It's just comes out of his mouth. Another thing that I Dig about him is that well he's letting Himself be Real and He's Not Adhering to his Image24/7. I believe what he is trying 2 say is that the feeling we get from a live concert with a real drum player, real guitarists and real keyboardists can't be replaced by drum machines and other computer generated instruments. 2 let music b replaced by this is taking away our outlets 4 our emotions. Think about the difference between the song u hear on the radio versus the same song when u hear it live. Now think if it was all computer generated, where's the heart in it? Computers don't have hearts, only megaHertz! no pun intended.
anyway, i think i get what he says how can we find the time 2 right the wrongs we've made? wars on every hand, animosity all over the land, was it worth the $$ we paid??? peace | |

I think he's getting at the likes of Britney who cant sing live and only sell records because of all the technology involved to get the tracks perfect...put her on stage and she mimes the whole time.
