prince to do europe in october? saw an advert in the paper this morning for prince tickets in paris this october. I went on the website wwww.londoncallingmusic.com and there it was, news that prince is performing in october!?
Heres a little bit from the website: Paris 28 October: £129 Prince will be performing at the Bercy Palais des Omnisports arena an indoor 16,000 capacity venue in Paris. We have a package based on sharing a twin/double room in a central 3 star Paris hotel with breakfast and your general admission ticket for Thursday the 8th. Extra nights are available at £35 per person if you would like to extend your stay in France. Single room supplement are priced at £30 per person per night. 4 star central hotels are available from £159 with extra nights or single room supplement at £80 per person Bit confused because 1 minute it says oct 28 , next its oct 8th?

The latest big rumour (posted on HQ and seems very reliable) is that following the US tour he will then tour South America, New Zealand, Australia, then Japan in Jan/Feb before a spring tour in Europe.
Fuck, I hope this turns out to be true. When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.

Prince going to South America? That would be a major risk financially given the political and economic instablility of the region. While I imagine(some) people would want to see Prince in South America, the economies of many South America are in the brink(if not already) destruction. So who would have money to support such a major artist?
Many of the world's biggest bands have avoided the region. However , I did see Simply Red last year in Sao Paulo(Brazil) and the fans were super bonkers, just as if it were a soccer game. Very good show and very supportive fans. There is more money in boobs than there is in God- Jessica Simpson

I've seen Tix on sale for the Paris show through agencies so I don't think it's a scam. I would love him to come and do London next Spring - Autumn is my Madonna season this year and the excitement of both would probably kill me off.
Loved his show at Hammersmith two years ago (was it?) - can't wait to see him again!
