The last parade I attended was a few years ago in Santa Fe...

I still have a souvenir from it: a pink toothbrush with purple bristles that says "brush with pride;" a freebie from a local gay dentist.

And the highlight was this float at the end. It was just this guy who called himself "the grand old fag" dancing around on his own float." Afterwards, all the conversation at the cafe on the square was about who the heck this guy was. I think he was a local activist.
