fatal attraction i'm curious as to what you all think.
was glenn close's character (alex) really that crazy? granted, there are degrees of crazy. but who of us has not felt that way at one time or another? i know i have. i haven't acted on it in the way she did (bunny stew) but i still felt that way. who of us hasn't wanted to call the significant other? and who of us have? and who think it was all michael douglas' (dan's) fault in the first place?

she was that crazy.
that's the all-important difference. plenty of people may have felt like that, but it's the acting on it which makes it crazy, not the thought.

and it wasn't dan's fault.
though he was a naughty boy.

Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect, it means you've decided to look beyond the imperfections... unknown

tell me you haven't felt like you were going crazy over a man.

She was the classic Borderline Personality.
I've never felt that way. I don't allow a man to make me feel that desperate, EVER. And there's no point in calling the significant other, because you shouldn't be going out with married men EVER. And yeah, it was Dan's fault for being a slimeball in the first place.

Fooling around with a married man is basically playing with fire. U will get burned. It takes two ppl in a relationship and both have a choice. Glenn Close's character Alex was a psychopath and she brought it upon herself because she had a choice but decided to pursue the impossible dream. Of course Dan was at fault 2 , he should've kept his pants on, honoured his wife & not root around.
I've never felt this way, frankly I don't understand how someone can fall to such a low. Life is too bloody short for such complications & no-one is worth the friggin' effort.

I was a victim of one... Yep my family had to deal with one too. Only my father ended up marrying her It was so bad...she even called my brother when he was 10 to tell him she's pregnant and that she needs to have an abortion. Not to mention the sympathy card she sent to my mother saying "So sorry your marriage isn't working out well". I hate her.
