too bad he had to go to whatever place he had to go to. had me crying like a baby. did he go to Heaven or someplace like it or did he just sail into Never-Never Land? i get confused when i see that part.

Aren't the Lord Of The Rings movies the greatest films of all time? i think they are. nothing can top these films - NOTHING! i always forget that all that stuff is CG. i'm thinking,"sure there's a castle built into a mountain someplace in New Zealand".

Frodo goes to Valenor (sp?) I believe it is called....it is an island that can only be reached by Elves and special friends of Elves...it is the Elves natural land, not to be found on any map. It is the Elves' final resting place...sort of like a heaven, yes.

TLotR is the soccer amongst movies, but I rather watch rugby, you know? Or ballet. So I opt for Taxidriver/Reservoir Dogs and Amadeus/Billy Elliot before I would EVER call any TLotR movie the best ever made.

And any of those four movies I'ld rather watch on a rainy afternoon than the blue screen fodder of late.

Good popcorn movies, mind, but not the best ever made. Leave that up to The Godfathers amongst us....
