Woman claims to have longest bridal veil

Here comes the bride, and there goes her veil — all 1.7 miles of it. Eva Hofbauer went to her wedding claiming to be wearing the longest bridal veil in the world, the Austria Press Agency reported.

Her groom could only watch, robbed of any attention, as Hofbauer was assisted by hundreds of young people who carried the veil into the church in Korneuburg, a town on the Danube River just northwest of Vienna. Mayor Wolfgang Peterl said he hoped the veil would earn a place in Guinness World Records. The previous record-holder was said to be a Japanese bride whose veil was 1.2 miles long.

Longest Attack of Hiccups
Charles Osborne (1894–1991) of Anthon, Iowa, USA, started hiccupping in 1922 while attempting to weigh a hog before slaughtering it. He was unable to find a cure, and continued hiccupping until February 1990, a total of 68 year!

Osborne led a normal life in which he had two wives and fathered eight children. The only discomfort from his hiccuping, he claimed, was the constant risk of losing his false teeth!

During the first few decades, he hiccupped up to 40 times a minute, slowing to 20 a minute in later years. He finally stopped in 1990 – after an estimated 430 million spasms – and died the following year.

Stripper claims breast world record

A Canadian stripper claims to have the world's biggest chest.

Crystal Storm says her officially certified 57F cleavage is a new world record.

The 5ft 4ins dancer 's breasts weigh a combined 40 pounds. She has spent nearly £15,000 on having her bosom surgically enhanced.

"Almost a third of my body weight is right up high,"she told the Toronto Sun.

"I didn't try to be the biggest, it just kind of happened that way."

A spokesman for the Guinness Book of Records told Ananova that Crystal's claim would be considered if she supplies documented evidence.

The current record holder is America's Norma Stitz, who has a size 48V bra, and a chest measurement of 70 inches.

Crystal is currently titillating crowds at Teaser's Burlesque Cabaret in suburban Winnipeg and is billed as the owner of the world's largest chest.
