DAY SO FAR How has your day been so far?
I woke up at 6 o'clock, kind of groggy because I had two miserable beers between 4 and 6 o'clock the day before and apparently that's enough to give me a small hangover. I automatically went to the coffee machine, stark naked. Usually, I don't have to walk that far because my honey makes my coffee before he wakes me up, but this week he is visiting his mom. Coffee in hand I went to the computer to read a bunch of news articles, like I do every morning for at least one hour. Need my news and my two cups of coffee, otherwise life is completely absurd. I then spent one hour in the bathroom shaving (that takes a long time -- I use both an electric shaver and a Gillete blade -- around the neck, near the throat, it's quicker), brushing my teeth (long brushing, tongue scraping, flossing, another brushing), showering and various other activities. Then it was time to get dressed, but first I needed to cool off from a near scalding shower. Finally, at 8:20, I left for work. I checked my fly three times. For various reasons, I get noticed, and I don't want it to be because my fly is open, like like last week. The subway station is a short walk from my place. In general, I'm not too comfortable in crowds or even on the sidewalk. Everything is so blurry I feel like... well, you know when the TV signal gets really awful and it's almost not worth watching? The subway platform and the train itself were thankfully less crowded. I noticed the short guy seated across me was looking at me a long time. He thought I couldn't see at all because I was holding a folded white cane. Happens all the time -- it's a riot. After getting out of the subway, I walked to my workplace. There's nothing that happened there that I want to discuss much. It's a nice place, a good job, good people, a lot of work and that's about it. After I left work, I stopped two stations before my usual destination, to enjoy the sun and look at all the good looking guys. When you don't see well, there are a lot of good looking guys, so I enjoyed the crowd bath on the busy sidewalks, especially the guys starting to wear long shorts and short-sleeve shirts and tank tops. I still felt that pain on my head, where I knocked myself last week. I think it was a bus sign. I made it home at 5:30. Usually, diner awaits but I'm a widow this week. I made myself some pasta. Then I typed a couple of posts and here I am... about to watch American Idol. This is my life? At least my day so far. [This message was edited Wed May 19 17:18:32 2004 by Aerogram]

My day,,,(in a nutshell)...
I was in a groggy mood,,,lack of sleep~ Im a VERY light sleeper, & couldnt sleep last nite b/c my window was OPEN,,,thus hearing all the noises of the big city~ The reason it was open was ,,my son had placed a large FAN in it. I got up to pee,,,saw a 3 inch centipede, (while on the toilet),,& freaked~~ I killed it..went to sleep in the basement,,,where i saw ANOTHER centipede..probably its brother wanting revenge~~ Anywho,,I went for groceries, made dinner, went to the garden center with big sis,,did 2 loads of laundry, surfed the net. Now Im EXTRA tired~ Good nite all~~

Aero, I think you get noticed because you write beautifully and walk around your house naked.
My Day I got up this morning, went to the bathroom and let my dog Tiger out. Then I went to wake up my daughters. I always wake them with this silly song I made up. I then let the dog in and fed him. Then, I helped my daughters get ready for school and sent them and my hubby (Who dresses himself. Isn't that wonderful?) on their way. I went back to bed for about half an hour. I wanted to stay there all day, but I told my dad that I'd come to his house and stay with my grandmother so he could go shopping at COSTCO. So, I got out of bed, got dressed and went to McD's for a sausage bisquit, hash brown and large diet coke.I spent the morning with her (unfortunately I kept dozing off on the couch). My dad made it back at 1pm. I had to rush home and get my youngest daughter to dance class. While she was there, I went across the street to pick up a copy of my current tax return. I went to my daughter's dance class. I love Wednsdays!! Dance class is so fun! When it was over, we went home and had something to eat. My oldest daughter was on the computer, so I crashed on the couch. (Don't know why I was so tired today!) When my daughter got off the computer I got on and checked my email and the ORG. My hubby came home and got mad because I had only gotten the current year's tax return and not last year's as well. I called the tax place and made arrangements to get them. Then it was time for my oldest to go to dance class. We stopped by the tax place first. Dance class was fun again. Their receital is this Saturday. I'll be backstage mom again and I kinda wanted to watch the show this year, but oh well, it will be fun!! Then I dropped my daughters off at the library. Returned a dvd player my husband bought at Wal-Mart and bought a few groceries. I went back to the library to get my girls. We looked around until the library closed, checking out 2 books before we left. I cooked dinner when I got home (chili and cornbread muffins), ate dinner and got on the computer. Pretty typical day. I'm firmly planted in denial

I woke up at noon in my friend's bed, completely hungover and sick to my stomach. I was forced to get out of bed because my boyfriend was calling my mobile to say hi and tell me that he finished his first exam (which kicked his ass) before trotting off to take his next - and final - exam. My friend and I napped on and off for another two hours before getting up, getting dressed, and going for breakfast (at 2 p.m.) I ate as much as I could - I was afraid I would vomit all over myself - then we hopped on the bus. She got off after a few stops to go see the Westminster Abbey (even though I matched her drink for drink last night, she was perfectly fine) while I had a good forty minute bus ride ahead of me before getting home. It was hot, I was sick, and the woman next to me was eating chips with ketchup and the smell was horrendous. The only thing that was keeping me sane was the thought of floating on my back in a clear, large pool in the middle of the forest.
Somehow I got home without puking, staggered up the hill, and got to my dorms. My boyfriend had left the key at reception, but the porter couldn't find it, so I spent a good five minutes arguing with him about it. Finally I spotted it hanging on my boyfriend's room hook (instead of mine), then I crawled upstairs, stripped down, and got into bed. I stayed there for the next two hours, napping, until my boyfriend came home and woke me up. I was still feeling sick by this point. We went to dinner, I picked at my food, and then returned to my room to start packing for our trip to Italy tomorrow. We showered and went back down the hill to get some pub food (when I'm hungover, I like to eat as much as I can - it makes me feel slightly more human), where an old guy proceeded to hit on me even though I was dressed in my pajamas and looked about four years old. After our second dinner, we did laundry while I waxed my boyfriend's face (don't ask, but it looks great). I played a lot of Donkey Kong Country while my boyfriend packed and dozed. We finished laundry, finished packing, and are now in the computer lab looking up our flight information and hotel address for Bologna. It's 5:28 a.m. and we have to leave home to get to the airport probably by nine or so. My boyfriend is tired because he didn't sleep last night (busy studying - or pretending to) and I'm tired from drinking last night. It kicked my ass into oblivion. So there you have it. A day full of meaningless chores and sorting and in general trying to avoid vomiting. I mean, like, where is the sun?

Today!
The alarm went off at 6am so that my wife could get up for her morning walk. I hit the snooze button but woke up after 10 minutes. I draged myself into the shower and get changed. I run outside to collect the paper and notice the frost everywhere. It looks like a blanket of snow fell last night! I heard on the radio that it's about -4C (20F). Good lawrd!!!!! 6.30am and I get my daughter up (she's 2 and a half). I make her breakfast while my wife runs through the door panting and weezing. Somehow I don't think she liked her walk this morning. lol We both eat breakfast and then I change her into her little school outfit. She wants to watch cartoons, so I turn the tv on and finish reading my paper as my wife joins us for breakfast. 7.30am and we're all heading out the door. I take Mia to school and then it's off to work.

Today I woke up and decided to continue with my shedding of objects. I just can't bare all the accumulation from over the years. The shedding process has been going on for sometime now. It's reached the point of pain as I am getting to the last 30%. (Like clothing and shoes that you will never wear again but don't part with in case of bad times. You know the stuff that even then you would never use anyway) I have candle holders from God knows when (Like 15 years ago) They are great but obsolete.
On the kept side. I have moved all the cherrywood frames to the upstairs hall ways. It's final stop before it also exits the building in the near future. In the meantime I have travel channel running in the background. The topic is food. I am starving!

Reality... can be beautiful revelation, at least becoming aware of personal doings and having the aftermath of visions pass only to await for new ones to arrise.
All these reads are amazing... for whatever they hold in meaning.
