Which is better and why?

The only thing I like better about the NPGMC is that there is less negativity. But over there I can't say things like shit, fuck, pussy, dick, bitch, your mother sucks cock without getting censored.

Actually, the Member Connection forum over there is at least as active, if not more active, than the GD forum here, especially lately.

each serves a purpose.

the org has its "negativity", but believe me, so does the club.

the org has its kooky sense of humor, and so does the club.

the club is "better" in that it's the official site and it offers good deals on concert tix, and it offers the occasional download for sale.

the org is "better" in that there's a freer flow of expression and information, and as fan sites go, we're going to have a little bit less "bias" on the reviews and critical news articles we post. we have no stake in the public relations side of prince's career, so we can say more.

i think the club is getting better in terms of creating a less repressive environment in terms of locking and deleting stuff, but it's always going to be what it is, for better or for worse.

good people post on the club, and good people post on the org. there are always gonna be a few bad apples, but hey - that's the internet for you.

so, really, in my opinion, neither is "better". it's just a matter of preference and the mood one happens to be in at any given time.

Obviously I like the Org better cuz I'm here and not there. But there seems to be a movement to sterilize this site as well. Freedom of expression can oly go so far here.

I guess you could say that NPGMC is more "cult-like" - for a lack of better word - in that it tries to be a more exclusive club through membership fees and a tougher moderation policy than the org

It seems alot of peole have left here and paid to go on there. They got a politics forum going on pretty tight and no one has gotten banned. Can you picture that? They may not be a restrictive as some may lead you to believe.
