Yesterday I was in my local HMV store here in Bournemouth and in the front window they have this huge promtional poster advertizing Musicology, so I went up 2 one of the shop assistants and asked them if I could have that poster, when the promotion is over, and they said that they dont seel them as a firm from London usually comes and puts them up, and this firm doesnt sell them either!!! I was so pissed off!!

The thing is, if this was the USA, the store assistants in record stores over there would say "No problem!! We will put it by for u and call u up!!!"

Where I lived in the USA, everyone in the record store near me knew I was a huge Prince fan and they used 2 always put by posters and displays for me and one guy would even let me have his promotional pins he had 2 wear!!!

This country sucks big time!!!!

I was at a local Barnes and noble store and I saw a promtional poster as well . I went to the front counter and asked if I was able to purchase the poster. THey said NO. it wasnt their poster. When the take it down the have to return it. If its missing the report it stolen.

Maybe you didnt ask kindly enough...

I always get posters when I ask for them..
