Don't u just hate this kind of response?

So it begins, when an orger notes how they don't like something... an album, a brand of processed cheese, a fashion, a hair product.

Then along comes Johnny Banalandcompletelydevoidofanyintelligence and say something like...

"Yeah, well, let's see the processed cheese you've created and successfully sold around the world and then we'll accept your opinion."

Don't get caught up in the processed cheese thing by the way, it could be anything. Like processed ham perhaps?

Anyway, why should someone have to be even vaguely competent at something in order to have an opinion on the work of others in that field. If that were the case we'd never be able to hang shit on anything!!!

As human beings we're pretty much lame at most things, but sometimes we have a few good skills with which we're really quite competent. Surely we can't be expected to only comment on things we have a thorough knowledge and high level of competence at.

No, of course not. There's not enough time in the day to actually know about everything so we have to form an opinion based on some hastily drawn up conclusions and a fair deal of bluffing. Sometimes we just know a little about something despite not being a master of it. Still, we can give an opinion on what we DO know. It's fun.

Fuck off those that say I can't critique something unless I can do it myself. Half of you here can't write a good thread yet I wouldn't deny u the chance to say mine is absolutely crap.

p.s. I can do everything by the way, so I'm not actually speaking personally but on behalf of those less fortunate.
