When you Eat Carbs Do You Notice ya Gain Weight?

It's like Pasta and Bread turns to Sugar and makes me Blow-up. If I eat Protein I'm like all good. How about you?

whole wheat pastas, beans, starches like potatoes, grain cereals..... sounds gross but it keeps you from gaining weight promise. oh and lots of fruits and vegetables, though most arent very high. oh yeah and everything turns to sugar, its not just those

I don't eat carbs right now. Trying to get down to a smaller size.

I keep my carb intake to a very low 5%. I'm doing this for about two weeks, it's a meat fast. The weight is just sliding right off of me though. I understand it's not really healthy to restrict carbs altogether, but I will be adding some fruit and vegetables in the mix in about six days. So NO LECTURES!!!! wink

I haven't been completely carb-free, but my dad is on the South Beach Diet and lost 60 pounds already. He was heavy before, but now he looks great. Since my dad's going with a no-carb diet, I guess I've been eating a lot better too because there aren't too many carbs in the house and no ordering pizza and sandwhiches like we did before. I look better than I have in a long time, and my tummy is all toned and ready for summer, luckily!

Low Carb diets are fucking stupid. Period. You're body NEEDS carbs to function. What good is losing weight if you barely have the energy to even go for a short walk? Oh right. I forgot. People who diet like to be lazy fuckers and drive, then wonder why they need to be on diets in the first place.

What really irritates me is low carb beer. Yes everybody, I'd like to get drunk off my ass and puke all over my shoes, but I'd damn well better be skinny when I'm doing it!

If people ate balanced diets and exercised properly, they wouldn't be fat in the first place. True, some people can't help it due to genetics, disease, or medications, but the truth is, most people are fat because they don't take care of themselves!

I've learned that portion size is the key. If you actually eat what they say is one serving, you won't blow up. Americans eat too much food.
