It's rare that I'm bothered since I usually have my headphones on, or just give off a don't bother me vibe. I get slammed for that all the time. Also when I'm walking down the street, I give the impression that I have someplace to go and walk a bit faster than most so I can't be stopped for small talk. When it does happen, maybe once or twice a year, I can tell in less than 10 seconds whether or not I want to talk to the guy. More times than not I don't. Only once within the past few years, I have been receptive to meeting somebody randomly, and it turned into a friendship.
