Sorry, but I think that's a load of crap. I couldn't care less if Catwoman was black, white or Puerto Rican. As you said, Eartha Kitt was a great Catwoman. This movie is gonna suck because it is Catwoman in name only. They are ignoring the Comic source material, even changing who Catwoman is (in the comic she is Selina Kyle, in the film she's going to be someone named Patience Phillips). They are turning her into some mystical back from the dead thing (a la the Crow), instead of a jewel thief who switches sides to become a hero. Heck, they aren't even setting the film in Gotham (blasphemy). It won't be Halle's fault that this movie will suck so bad. Heck, I think she's a much better choice than who was originally cast (Ashely Judd, who just doens't fit the role in any way at all). This movie will blow, regardless of who they cast.
