Byron there was no need for a flash....you caused a big flash burst.....and the camera was to close to your face, therefore causing your skin tones to be washed out and excessive digital noise under the front of your hat. May I suggest next time not using your flash, move that camera back about 10 feet if not more and use a reflector to reflect the light on your face so the bill of your hat will not cause dark shadows.
