WHAT INSPIRES YOU? I find myself inevitably inspired by elements of the environment...they trigger off this sensory in my mind dat makes me wanna create, create create...

Quite frankly, summer inspires me. Sun and heat and long days inspire me. That probably has a bit to do with my seaonal affective disorder, but what the hell - I'm on the upswing part of it right now, and the inspiration is just rollin' in from all directions lately.
Live performances of music and theatre always inspire me, too. Good theatre reminds me of what I SHOULD be doing, and bad theatre shows me it's possible for anything to get on stage, so why shouldn't I? And as for music...so far this year I've seen Prince and Bowie, my two most favorite performers ever - and I have more concerts by both to attend over the next couple months. What's not inspiring about that? | |

What inspires me... Beauty (in the eye of the beholder), pain,  , all ranges of human emotion
Certain people inspire me...3 of whom are members of this site. My sisters inspire me, my animals inspire me... Lots of tangible and intangible things | |

I used to write a LOT of songs & poetry all inspired by a girlfriend of mine, and when that relationship fell apart I quit writing. Once the inspiration wasn't there anymore, nothing mattered.  NCC2012... your local Trekkie. =/\=
