I feel 4 u, my air conditioner is broken too, and it's the first 80+ day so far his year in NYC. I took P's latest Rolling Stone issue and laid on the couch in the air conditioned furniture store reading for a few hours. wink

hug Sorry to hear that Rhonda, that sucks!! sad My only advice would be to take plenty of cold showers to keep cool and drink lots of water. Fans works well too, if you get out of the shower and sit or stand in front of the fan while you're still wet. I did that a few times when my air conditioner was out, it helped.

People here literally die from the heat if proper or adequate cooling is not available or obtainable. It's all about $$$ (or lack of) and life necessities... to live.
