Enough? When do we reach that point?
Because I bend. I’m quite flexible, you’ve seen. You’ve knocked me down.
I took it, absorbed the blow. But like a plant to the sun I grew to you again. Your light was warm and gentle and inviting.

You burned me.

It got too hot – you burned yourself and me in the process. My burn healed and I just got a little darker (melanin, I guess). You’re pale. You can’t take the heat. You combust and get sucked into your own black hole. Now I know why you disappear.

Then you reappear. A star so bright, a field so magnetic I’m drawn again. I forget all about the burn…until it starts to sting. I rushed in raw and forgot my sunblock. The burn has become fever and I’m sick.

The cure is painful and I’m not sure I want to be healed. In this sickness is comfort and this torment is passion.

I need a cleansing. Maybe I can go to the spa and steam you out. Starve you out, like a tapeworm? Replace my own marrow?

Really, it begins with cleaning my own front stoop. Ridding myself of the baggage and mementos that were once invaluable treasure. They now just feed my disease.

I’m sick.

Oh, it looks like someone tried to pop me (I got the 'close org pops' prompt), but I didn't get the actual pop.

I think this computer sees them as pop-ups and zaps them.

Hey everyone who tried to pop me and make me seem less loser-ish:

1. I didn't get your pops, due to the fact that my computer thought they were ads and intercepted them. Prepare to do this exercise again later (not now).

2. I tried to orgnote you if you posted in here BECAUSE I GUESS I REACHED MY MAXIMUM and I could not post anymore last night just after I started this thread (I would have thought I was rude, too). I think you got them except for oldmanjohnson, who wouldn't recognize a pop or a note notification if his dog barked it at him.

3. I don't have a 3 but a list with 1 and 2 is just stupid.
