My sister marched on Washington yesterday.

She said it was one of the greatest moments of her life. I'm so proud.

She's on the far right in the grey t-shirt and glasses.

No. Long red hair... very pretty. She's in a movie that's coming out soon and I can't google because I can't remember the name of the movie or her co-star. Anyway... her comments in the trailer remind me of you.

My buddy went to that this weekend and I babysat his new kitten while he was gone. So in a way, I went to the march too, if by "attending the march" you mean "playing with a kitten." nuts

I don't know, I'm not as politically aware as I should be.

I know I won't be voting for him.

woot! for your mom..

In my day, I protested the Viet Nam War... I was but a young one.. But my feelings were strong.. And what I saw in those men who returned, just broke my heart....

Carrie, Star, Azure let's get together sometime and contribute to the world... smile Maybe a few beers before.. smile

That sounds lovely. My mother's passed on just over 10 years now, and I'm sure my sister did this for her as much as anyone.

It's interesting how we each change the world in little ways.

I wish I coulda been there. Bravo for your sister! hug

I listened to the march on Public radio nod

It always makes me sad that women are on this insane bandwaggon to deny other womens rights to control their own bodies and destiny. This administration has done so much damage to womens right to choice. If they get another 4 years you can guarantee abortion will be illegal in 2008..... It's scary and sick.

OUCH. I'm outta the loop. I didn't even know anything about
the march until I read this thread.

I did attend the one in the 90's, though, like AnotherLoverToo.

According to Sunday's paper, the polls are pretty close, with Bush's
ratings higher than they were in Feb/Mar, after a round of negative
attack ads against Kerry. Sigh....
let me come over it's a beautiful day to play with you in the dark
