The creepiest thing I ever saw on the internet was the Haunted Painting on sale at Ebay. The original advert is still up - but there are no images available.

Once you see this doll's face, in the painting, you won't forget it. There is a strong history & force behind that painting, though that is definately not a gun in the girls hands, that is the shape from the ornament she holds onto formed by shadows to seemingly appear as a weapon.
When I was growing up my mum had two paintings on the walls of my bedroom, one of a haunted looking boy crying & the other of a young girl in same fashion. Great art work but there was something very paranormal about them. In the past previous owners of those replica paintings have claimed certain freak accidents. In one scenario the couples house burnt down and yet the painting of the young boy was unmarked. Another factual story was that a womans child would cry throughout the night pointing to the painting, and claiming that the child came to life overnight. Freaky stuff but I must say apart from the faces of the kids scaring me a little and the negative energy that it expelled there wasn't much else to report. Perception of such aspects in history explains a lot. | |

the creepiest thing is all those disembodied hands. ok, the black witch eyes are weird too. and the jointed arms of the doll and her down drooped mouth. still, nothing really scary about it. it's just a painting folks.
