I'm a bit confused sbout the concept of plastic surgery myself. You won't find ANYONE who enjoys looking at beautiful people more than I do, but plastic surgery? disbelief Just not sure about it. I know a young lady at this very moment who could benefit from a nose job for beauty and health reasons. She wants to do it for the health reasons but she's afraid others will misjudge her as being uppity or something... confuse
As far as breast implants, I just don't like the way they look or feel, but that's just my opinion. I agree with everyone else about doing more research about the risks.

nod Yeah, keep that in mind. You'll probably find some other clothes that you like wearing that don't work so well anymore. . .I'm only a C, and I still find shirts where the button thingie doesn't lay nicely in the front. . .swimsuits are a nightmare. . .cute little tank tops, no way. . .disbelief

I've wanted to get breast implants for many years now, but for one reason or another I've never gotten to the point of actually going through with it. My biggest fear is that I will have one burst or I will loose nipple sensation (sorry, but that is a HUGE deal to me).

Those of you here who have the implants, do you regret getting them at all? If so, why?

I'm thinking about actually going through with this sometime later in the year, or early next year, but I'm scared to death! I don't want anything too big, maybe an increase of a cup size... just something to make me more proportionate, since I am a girl with hips (unfortunately I can't chisel the bone away) and a smaller waist... my lack of boobage makes me look like a child in certain dresses. How painful is it, really? On a scale of 1-10... ten being the worst. And, what about scars?

I think you and your breasts look fine in that profile pic. Don't change anything. biggrin

Well, I don't want to be known for my boobies. I just want clothing to fit better, silly! I like what I have. They're cute and perky. I just need a little more to fill out certain clothes, that's all.

I wouldn't want them like... PA-POW in your face big, so that if someone looked at me all they saw were my boobs.

In fact, a few years back I took those booby-growing pills. redface They worked! It was painful when they, uuuh, grew... and I hit the perfect size to wear certain outfits... but, once you stopped poppin' the pills they shrunk back down to normal.

Chicken patties are also an option, and I used those for a while, too. But, they get all sweaty next to my skin and if you're out dancing there's always that fear of them ploppin' out onto the dance floor.

Michigan only gets about 3 months of summer time per year anyway, woman, and you'll probably only be wearing sundresses for another 10 yrs (after a woman hits a certain age, they don't look so great, imo). So, not even taking the medical issues into consideration, I really don't think they'd be worth it.....

shrug

I never took that into consideration... the three months of summer thing. Hmmm...

After reading all of the responses I have this to say...

1. Thank you for all of the responses.

2. I am going to look into it more. Probably as I have for years now and keep looking into it and keep looking until I'm too old to wear sundresses! wink

3. I do look like a small child in a dress and my middle fingers are one of my best assets! wink

4. I noticed that no one came on here and said that they had implants to offer any advice either way. Is the org implant free or do women not like to mention that they have them?

Sure I will speak to it. I in fact am very comfortable with the subject. I am a size 8/9. Im built like a sister .... Meaning I have a very small waist and a nice size ass on me. I was a 36A until I was 34.
Being in the salon industry I am surrounded by all things cosmetic from natural to extreme. As a matter of fact we have a laser and cosmetic surgeon on staff. So I know who to go to for the procedure. I decided to go for it.
Lets see ... the twins are 4 years old. They look great. Since I am fuller hipped rarely do people look at me and question it. However I will offer that nude they do sorta have that porno look. I don't know if that can be avoided though I did select the naturally slopping implant. (That eased the appearance.) They are not hard as I have seen some write nor do I have ripples on the side. I attribute both of these things to having more meat on me then say a size 4 who wouldn't. You can feel the implant is in there.

Would I do it again? No, I personally would not. Though my experience has been a very positive one, I find finding the right bra to be a pain in the ass. Dressing also changed a lot. Although I at this point in my life have chosen not to submit to any other cosmetic procedure. I support the right of woman everywhere to do what they desire and are comfortable with. biggrin

The link in my profile takes you to a pic where in my opinion they look like they fit my body without that fake look to them.

Great Idea for a movie....This just goes to show that you don't need a huge budget to make a compelling movie. Rock On. I think any idea is a possibility for a documentary. You just have to get the right angle on it. Maybe this will convince you to get off your butt and exercise America. .....

And by the way..the documentary premiered at Sundance in January, 2004. Less than two months later, McDonalds announced that it will no longer sell any of their menu items in "Super Size".

it's hard to see what the breasts are like with you wearing black all the time but your figure does look top heavy. it would freak me out if i could feel something like that inside my body but apparently it works for you so that's cool.

are those your children in the pictures? they are really beautiful.
