Exploding Pigeons Ok, ok, i heard this and im dying to try it 
but i dont know if its true. I heard that if u feed pigeons uncooked rice then they would explode, now, i very much doubt they would explode, i just think they'd die becos the rice expands wen in thier stomachs, but i dont know!

Im just wonderin if u know, so i can try this out! not sure about pigeons...but i know if u give HAMSTERS 7up (or any carbonated drink) they will "explode" some cruel bastard at high school did this, but it doesnt actuallty "explode" as in BOOM! more like just expand and then drop dead...they cant burp up the gas apparently...but that doesnt mean u need 2 try it! | |

actually this is true for all living creatures i think. uncooked grains expand when they come into contact with water and if a child/bird/dog/cat eats enough uncooked rice/barley then drinks water their intestines can burst as the grain expands. this i why people are advised not to toss grains of rice at the happy couple at weddings
please do not try this for fun. cruelty to living creatures is not fun. please don't | |

I've heard the same story about pigs...people have feed them
rice, then stuck a hose down their throat....
Most weddings want you to throw birdseed now, instead of rice. BTW, I thought this thread was going to be about that bird that flew in front of a Randy Johnson pitch a couple of years ago. Did you see that? During spring training, he pitches the ball (his fastball is 90-100mph) just as a bird is flying across home plate.....SPLAT....feathers EVERYWHERE....looked like an explosion! What are the odds? Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol.
