Actually, I'm glad someone asked this question

I've just recently read "A Child Called It", "The Lost Boy", and "A Man Named Dave"

The first one was just awful, as in, the most heartwrenching reading experience I've ever had. It's the true story of a boy's life as a child, which turned out to be the third worst case of child abuse in California history. Sad, just very, very sad.

I just finished reading the 2003 Da Capo Anthology of Music Writing (edited by Matt Groening!), and now I'm about ready to bite into Augusten Burroughs' "Dry" (finally in paperback, woo yay).

Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

Well, I'm reading "Restoration Drama" for class. For pleasure, I've been reading "ego trip's Big Book of Racism". I also have their "Book of Rap Lists" but I haven't started it yet. I need to finish "The Artist's Way." And I've also been reading Sam Horn's "ConZentration" off and on. Guess, it's not helping.

very good read...not as good as "running with scissors" but..what could be?

I just finished up reading "The Fortress of Solitude"...this is hands down one of the best books I have ever read...I wonderful colorful and detailed story of a child becoming a man during the 70's gentrification of Broklyn...Complete with funk soundtrack and a wonderful believable explenation of how this boy becomes teen becomes superhero becomes man...

yes i meant to type superhero.. lol yet its one of the most realistic reads.....wonderful writing by Jonathan Lethem...

currently reading Carrie Fisher's "the best awful"..i wonder if augustine and carrie have ever met..could you imagine *that* conversation? lol

Holy Blood, Holy Grail.

Is the traditional, accepted view of the life of Christ in some way incomplete?
Is it possible Christ did not die on the cross?
Is it possible Jesus was married, a father, and that his bloodline still exists?
Is it possible that parchments found in the South of France a century ago reveal one of the best-kept secrets of Christendom?
Is it possible that these parchments contain the very heart of the mystery of the Holy Grail?

OOOH, I wanna read "Fortress of Solitude"!!!!

"Dry" is cracking me up, and I'm not even 40 pages into it. That guy's a brilliant writer - he really knows how to hold attention from page one.

Justed finished "Wired" about Belushi, I could relate too well

Now, just started "EXPLODING the highs, hits, hype, heroes and hustlers of the Warner Music Group"

Depending how factual it is, it's pretty good
