Comedian Dane Cook did a piece about the horror of the Speak n' Spell...it should've been called "Speak like the fucking devil"... EXACTLY!!!!

Hell yeah, I remember both of those and that damn Speak & Spell voice scared the hell out of me.

My older sister still has her 'Merlin' . Cool game! I used to love playing tic-tac-toe and that memory game on there.

wow!!! I had a Merlin when I was a kid.

I like that one Missy Elliot song where she has the speak and spell on it going M-I-SS-Y, Y-SS-I-M...

I'm gonna give away my age here, but did anyone see when Albert Brooks was on Johnny Carson back in the 80's and he goes, "Johnny, I'm going back to stand up and I've got a new comedy routine. I'd like you to meet my new partner." Then he reaches behind him and pulls out a Speak and Spell. He goes, "Um, who is the funniest person in the world" (or something like that) and then hits the letters "U" "R". It went on, but it was so funny! At least to me.

They all really scared me.
