Considering the circumstances rd held himself together the most in the last few days!!! A simple sign of showed us what he felt towards something none of us ever imagined in a site revolving around Prince, racism!

Chaotic cyber drama was in effect dragging his name through the mud but yet he still had enough goodness in his heart to stay happy and laugh things off.


Without me even knowing why he's been deactivated I say this much... The org just lost one of it's sweetest most flavorful members.


He was straight up and although very opinionated he didn't beat around the bush which I think offended those he didn't agree with.


He could write a masterpiece of a thread when it came to his inner thoughts and beliefs be it P related or whatever... along the way some guy with a major inferiority complex had to piss on everybodys parade which in turn got himself banned...


at least now that rd's gone one person is very happy and probably satisfied as he lurks on... to whomever still puts the fuel in ice's fire I hope your happy too... now gone are rd, ctheuncanny, MD7, Bliss, Nu, Essence and the list goes on and on... remember the EXODUS... it caused this place to be a ghost town ...


all we had then was ice9 trying to embrace whomever he could even the ones he'd clown months before...(me being one of them) Sorry that I have to say all of this because I never expected any of this when I came here but the truth hurts!!!

Pej, I have said that all these people should be let back to at least deal with this. But with all due respect I personally have seen tactics, that while honest, definitely were baiting and flaming including pretty much calling other black members Uncle Toms for not agreeing with issues he had with other members. He used to say that about Stymie all the time.

The issue of how he used offensive gay stereotypes in dealing with Chris Borgman is something that people are missing in all this. Personally people have alluded to gay bashing me and I didn't report them. I'm not the sensitive type when it comes to that kind of stuff, unless it's for real. However if someone is sensitive about it, shouldn't it be respected?

Chris asked him, without reporting him, to delete his stereotypical comments and it just went on and on and on. Imagine for one second that Chris started using black stereotypes in dealing with his personal conflict with RDHull. Would they be tolerated, no. Not only would they not be tolerated but there would be a bandwaggon war over them.

I agree with you that he was one of the most colorful individuals this joint has ever had. And when he was joking around and having fun he was the best. But when he wasn't....I have always liked RD and would have hoped that he would be open to discussion in all this. Seems he flamed someone and that is what got him banned.

I say good riddance. Even though he tried in the end, he must have done something yet again to become deactivated. It actually surprises you that all those people are gone? Not me.

part of me thinks i shouldn't say anything, but then there will be all kinds of people accusing me of secretly gloating and being happy about it.

and if i say how much i will miss him and that it is very dissapointing, people will accuse me of lying.

I knew he was on his last strike when we were in the middle of that huge silly drama, and i ignored a lot of his homophobic comments because i didn't want him banned. When he refused to take down some of the comments i found most offensive, i asked the mods to remove them but not ban him for it. i had hoped that would make the point to him.

i will miss him on the org, i liked his presence, and he did some really great, hysterical threads. i still don't consider him a homophobe, i know he isn't. i am sure he will read this, so for you, RD: please IM me on AOL?

Did anybody read what I wrote? this issue is obviously being ignored by a lot of people. I certainly agree that he couldn't be blamed for going off that people were talking about dragging him from a truck and that kind of shit but he didn't say anything about that but made flames at another current member earlier today. Perhaps we all should be given free license to say whatever we want to but then again, this might become the Quaidbowl right?

I did see everything that went on here as far as what
you are saying Supa and I could be completely
wrong of my perception in the way things happened but I have never
experienced out of the year and a half I have been here RD
out and out disrespecting someone unless he felt disrespected
first. I have a lot of respect for RD for his strong views
and ability to express his opinion no matter how others
may come at him. He has made me see a side of certain subjects
that I may not have seen before and has made me laugh
on many occasions for that I appreciate him! With that said, he and many of the others
that have been banned over the last week will be missed
for their words and insight.
We all perceive words that are typed differently as you never
know the tone in which someone is saying something. I think
that before reaction is so quickly taken we all need to take
that into account and if you feel someone is offending you
take it to them first for clarification instead of being so
quick to react and blowing a situation out to extents not
necessary.

I didn't agree with everything he said, but at least he always had the guts to say it to people's faces.
