I heard on TV today she could be released next year if she behaves herself, and I'll have a lovely hot bath drawn for her when that day comes.

He didn't work at their school. His girlfriend, Maxine Carr did for a little while as an assistant.

He is where is deserves to be.

Ian Huntley has been rightly convicted (i.e. held responsible in law for murder) and imprisoned. He admitted to killing but not to murder, and showed no remorse on conviction. Under english law, evidence of allegations of previous rapes and underage sex was inadmissable.

What the case has also exposed is that greater care needs to be taken in employing people where there is data held indicating that they are a danger to children.

Everyone can be wise with hindsight, but it's clear - as the judge commented at the end of the trial - that there exists some degree of responsibility on the part of society to ensure children are better protected. Getting angry about it, isn't going to achieve anything much. Channelling energy into contributing toward a safer society sounds a better option.

what pains me the most about this man is that whilst hanging is two good for him, why should us or his family pay in taxes to keep him in a cell where he has his own telly and such like i believe they should put the little creep back into soham and tell the public of soham that he will be visiting for roughley an hour ... i honestly don't think he would last alot longer than that, i really cannot get to grips with what makes these sort of people tick.
