karma kisses you at the moment you least expect it/ a perfectly timed thoughtful gift from the fab "DUDEDROPS" just when i needed an emotional pick-me-up, i go down to the mailbox and there is a box, from michigan.
YAY! i open it, and am immediatly smiling as the yummy cologne smell pours forth from the box. (what is it with me and getting boxes from michigan that smell fantastic?) dudedrops (jason) has sent me a gift box and sprayed it down with some very delicious cologne. it's nummy. smells like sexy str8 boy. 
he has sent me three books: "celluloid closet" which i had and loved and gave to someone who needed a good book. "pet shop boys, literally" by chris heath and "pet shop boys versus america" also by chris heath. jason and i are both big PSB fans. and best of all: A MIX TAPE! nostalgic 80s and put on tape to further evoke the 80s chicness of it. i am jamming out to it now, and it RAWKS! (i freaking love 80s music, it's like having the childhood my father barred us from) sometimes karma kisses you just when you need it most. amidst this rather miserable day with all this fresh hell, it reminds me that there are genuine pure souls out there, and no matter how many less than kind people get their ego fix from trying to demean my happiness, the good pure souls like jason always outweigh them.

dudedrops is good for that. he frequently gives applekisses and myself (I sit in the car and listen) mixtapes. All great music, some funny hilarious stuff and some new music. All assorted, all varied, from Bowie to Prince to PSB, to 7 Hurtz with Peaches and Bitch Laplap.
