be sure to let us know what the doctor says, and as you can clearly see, there are many of us out there praying/sending good karma thoughts/worried about you, including me.

Thank you all for the support. I feel almost overwhelmed. I didn't expect such a huge outpouring of concern, but it is much appreciated and helps keeping a positive outlook.

I'll let you know what the doctor says as soon as I've been there, not this monday, but the next. It seems a long time to wait, but eventually we'll get there.

I'm a firm believer in positive thinking, Moxy, and am visualizing every night, before I go to sleep, that I am healthy in both body and mind. I think in the past handful of years, I've been a little forgetful about doing that nightly prayer kind of thing, because visualizing demands a lot of energy, but I certainly feel motivated to rekindle the practice now.

Scifi, I will keep you in my prayers. Please stay positive, it'll do a world of good for you.

You know, you've all made the line "if I cannot bring you comfort then at least I bring you hope" pop up in my head. You know, from the Wendy & Lisa song featuring Seal, The Closing of the Year on the Toys soundtrack? (And yes, that's a good thing. I like that song.)

SO... I had a close friend over for dinner last night. She's a fellow Prince fan and an educated astrologist.

I told her about my worries and like you all, she thought that it was good that I had made an appointment with my doctor.

She refused to believe that the cause of the lumb in my chest could be cancer - much less that I'd die from it - because I was meant for other things and had yet to reach my fullest potential and fullfill my purpose in life.

So that was very nice and positive. Only six more days to hear what my doctor has to say...
