dentists and dentristy

i mean what kind of person dedicates their life to sitting in tiny rooms with strangers, poking about in someone else's saliva and plaque with teeny little power tools? is it me or is this just plain weird?

i do appreciate dentists and their contribution to society, but what if they are secretly aliens who are collecting human DNA samples? anyone else ever wonder that?

hmmm. you might be right! the worst part is when they give you a shot of something. . . . because if they ARE aliens then perhaps the injection contains some kind of recombinant DNA that turns us into an alien slave race.

ok i'm off. wish me luck :teeth:

MAking sure to identify any precancerous cells in your cervical mucus so to intervene and prevent you from developing cancer nod

Oh and taking your DNA to encode into a massive human genome databank to establish links between women and aliens.
XxAxX, is right, the dentists are responsible for the males.

I believe - if i am not mistaken - that dentists have the highest rate of suicide ... among professionals ...

true fact - that i heard years ago - when i was studying to be a dentist ... and then ran onto another profession ...

I think it has to do with - think about it ... MOST people hate to go to the dentist ...

you cant really "chat with them " ... usually ... they ask u a question ... and your mouth is open with their hand and other devices in it ...

and lastly ... altho their are alot of "cruddy mouths" ... for the most part ... the day is the same routine ... whats the most exciting thing that can happen ... "johnny has a cavity" ...!!!???

What a waste of time that was! disbelief

£16.95 that cost me!!! all he did was have a quick look and check my mouth for lumps and bumps. No problems at all, i guess i should be relieved, but i feel shortchanged if the drill doesn't whirr into action!
