Ladies have you ever been serenaded?

A friend of mine told me that her first serious boyfriend sang to her. Personally, I'd rather my boyfriend clean up the house. Guess, I'm not the hopeless romantic type. sad

Anyway, ladies has a guy (or girl--if that's your pleasure) ever sang to you? Would you want him to?

No, but the thing is

I always had a thing 4 musicians, seriously if you can sing or play a insturment I would fall in love with you, really you don't have 2 have game or whatever, but just give me a "Woo Woo" Luther Vandress style and I'm yours, I'm telling you. lol

not a lady, but been serenaded. i dated a guy for a while, who was also an actor, and he played juan peron in a production of "evita" after we broke up but were getting back together. i jokingly said i wanted so badly to call him and just sing the opening lines (sung by eva to juan) of "i'd be good for you" from evita to him to see what he would do.

he sang the lines in the song to me. was really cute.

lol
i swear!

he sang:
"christopher borgman.
i've heard so much about you"

and it went on from there. we got all the way up to the part where eva sings more then juan does.

another time i sang "i'll cover you (reprise) from RENT to him.

damn, now i got myself thinking about jaime. he was a damn good boyfirend. dated 4 months before we ever had sex. it was like a storybook heterosexual relationship.

and he had an amazing singing voice... was operatically trained. and had money too... was a doctor at a mental hospital. i would make him tell me about his crazy patients (whithout mentioning their names) all the time. made me feel normal by comparison.

ex-boyfriends... and you cna have em, hon.

he did have a downside. a BIG one. as fantastic as our relationship was, it had to be ultra-secret, cause he was 34 and not out to his family. we could never live together, or be open about our relationship in any manner. it was like the beautiful dream you could live but never discuss or permanantly live.

I would now like to serenade REDFEATHERS with a song I wrote myself just now:

I've never seen you looking so lovely as you did tonight
I've never seen you shine so bright
I've never seen so many men ask you if you wanted to dance
They're looking for a little romance, given half a chance
I have never seen that dress you're wearing
Or the highlights in your head that catch your eyes I have been blind
The lady in red is dancing with me cheek to cheek
There's nobody here, it's just you and me, It's where I wanna be
But I hardly know this beauty by my side
I'll never for get, the way you look tonight

I've never seen you looking so gorgeous as you did tonight
I've never seen you shine so bright you were amazing
I've never seen so many people want to be there by your side
And when you turned to me and smiled, It took my breath away
I have never had such a feeling
Such a feeling of complete and utter love, as I do tonight

The way you look tonight
I never will forget, the way you look tonight
The lady in red
The lady in red
The lady in red
My lady in red.
