Hey I'm trying to plan a trip to the UK in February. I wanted to know where I could find cheap air rates online for trips from the US to the UK. Anybody familiar with int'l airfare? Let me know. Thanks in advance.

At least frlying FROM Europe, it very much depends on where u fly to - NY, Boston, Washington for example r cheap, while Florida and LA are more expensive since it's longer flights.

Also, I find that the best deals can often b found if u look through the travel section in your newspapers, either local or national, because its where these "bucket shops" tend 2 advertize!!

For example, I have done searches on flights on Cheaptickets, com, Expedia.com. Travelocity.com and lastminute.com, and then found CHEAPER deals instead in the papers!!

I have no idea, how these online travel agents can justify their prices!!!

where is your flight originating from? that could make a huge difference.

Florida is about the cheapest place in USA you can go from the UK. Return charter flights from Gatwick start at GBP39 pounds in peak season. But can usually be gotten for under 100 pounds.

as opposed to NYC/Boston at GBP170

LA flights can cost about GBP220 but sometimes are cheaper.

As for me, I don't have a return plane ticket as of yet... who knows if I'll ever come back to the US...
